This elegant apartment is situated on the top-floor of a 3-story walk-up building (equivalent to the American 3-story) of the appreciated Grands Boulevards neighborhood in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Fitted as a studio, it faces north and overlooks the cobblestoned courtyard shared amongst the tenants of the building and lovely planted terraces below.
Your rental is tastefully decorated in a modern fashion, with white furnishings and walls emphasizing the elegant hardwood “point de Hongrie” floors in the living area. This room features three floor-to-ceiling French windows bathing the interior with daylight, which is neatly reflected by the sliding mirrors hiding sizeable closets in front of them. This studio offers elegant pieces of furniture, such as a chest - console table topped with another mirror in between two of the windows and a double sofa bed before a coffee table. There is also a practical desk under bookcases, integrated into an alcove, to work with the light provided by the window next to it! The semi-open kitchen next to it perfectly fits the pure and zen atmosphere of the apartment with its white tiles and amenities as well as modern appliances, and so does the bathroom! You are also provided with TV, DVD player and washing machine for your convenience.
On rue d’Enghien and Cour des Petites Ecuries, you are in a thoroughfare part of Paris with plenty of amenities, even on your very street, in between Montmartre and le Marais or les Halles and Canal Saint-Martin. The Grands Boulevards is a trendy and upscale district of the right bank of Paris, home to the famous Grands Magasins, such as Printemps and Galeries Lafayette among other stylish brand stores. If you need a more regular shopping session, you can find Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis and its gigantic street market where you’ll be able to find quality fresh products 800 meters ( ½ a mile) away as well as a Carrefour supermarket even closer since just 320 m (0.2 mile) from your building! As for commuting conveniences, there are two metro stations just 3 blocks from the apartment: Bonne Nouvelle on the 8 and 9 line and Château d'Eau, on the 4 line. However, the most convenient station might be Strasbourg Saint-Denis, on the 4, 8 and 9 lines or the Gare de l’Est, with the 4, 5, and 7 metro lines in addition to regular trains since it’s an actual train station! They are both found on a half a mile radius from your rental, then you can make the most of the City of Lights!

Apartment Rental: 19 months
The sofa bed is not very comfortable. The apartment and building were very quiet. It is a very safe area, the street is quite dirty but if you don t mind it's ok.
