Neighborhood:

This apartment is located in a lively area with basic services, restaurants, and cafes. There is a laundromat in the building next to this apartment (about 30m or about 100 feet). A few steps away are the Grands Boulevards, lined with 19th century buildings which used to be the center of café and theatre life in the 18th and 19th centuries; they offer a variety of fashion shops and entertainment such as theaters and cinemas. In a few minutes walking distance are the Opera Garnier, and, a little farther, the beautiful Place Vendôme and the renowned Louvre Museum.

Premises:

This 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the second floor (third for USA) of a Hausmanien style building equipped with an elevator. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system during the night. This gate opens onto a paved courtyard, which leads to the apartment’s building entrance protected by a second coded security system. The apartment has a southern exposure.

Layout:

The entrance door opens directly into the living room and the open kitchen. The bathroom is accessible through the living room.

The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) living room is furnished with a lofted single bed above a double sofa bed, a closet with mirror doors, and a combo basic cable TV / DVD / DivX player. There is also a DSL Internet connection and a phone.

The open kitchen has a window overlooking a courtyard. It is equipped with two electric burners, a microwave oven, a small refrigerator, a toaster and dishes. There is also a folding table with two stools and shelves.

The tiled bathroom has a shower, a washbasin and a toilet.

The nearest metro station is Poissonière (line 7).

Heat and hot water are electric and are individually metered.
