Apartment Rental: 12 months

One toilet never worked for our entire residence at the apartment, even though the landlord sent his "handyman" over 3+ times to look at it. The ceiling fell down in the middle of the night one night (living room). Mold all over the apartment. Radiator fell off the wall (drywall ripped off). The location was excellent but this landlord treated us terribly.

Dear Wyatt,
I'm sorry you describe your stay as an uncomfortable experience and it is curious how the points of view can be different : you found an apartment with working toilet, no mold, heaters well attached to the wall, forniture in good status. The apartment was left with two costly design chairs definitely broken, the heaters detached from the wall, a toilet out of three totally clogged (now it is fortunately working).
Concerning the ceiling , this was a very unhappy fact I'm very sorry about, but it was obviously out of my control: a leak from the upper water heater produced, in a point of the ceiling, the fall of a piece of 13mm coating ("coating", not " the ceiling" ) .. We reacted the same day you called us and the plumber was there few hours after your message.
We are repairing all of the current unlucky problems and checking everything to bring the apartment back to its normal good shape.
Again I'm sorry for your feeling of being horribly treated and I'm sure you agree that both owners and tenant should take care of it in order to leave it in the same shape it has been found.
