Superb apartment in the heart of Paris with all necessary amenities. More than enough space for one person, can easily accommodate two. The owner is also very responsive to any requests and provides very helpful information to ensure an easy stay.

The apartment is in an excellent location, in the middle of it all, a block from a hub Metro station, Chatelet. It's facing a courtyard so very quiet however they were doing major construction on the store next door so that some noise.

It was very clean and easy to maintain with every amenity that is required to live day to day.

Dear Glenn - I'm so pleased to hear that your apartment experience was positive. You were the best and most responsible tenant I have had. I appreciated your thoughtfulness and quick communications.

As you are aware, I moved into the apartment after you left. Fortunately, they seem to have completed whatever the next door people were doing while you were living here. I'm sorry if it bothered you.

However, the apartment is extremely quiet now due to the special insulation I had installed 10 years ago. Ordinary noises (like music, tv, baby's crying) do not penetrate into the apartment.

I wish you all the best.

The bed seriously needs to be replaced with a more comfortable one. I had to vacate the apartment early because of back aches and pains. Also had to sleep over at a friends place half of my time in paris because of this... Really uncomfortable!

Rest of the flat was average.

Thanks!

I was surprised and disappointed to see your feedback Pieter, particularly given that during your stay you sent me several email messages saying that you found everything in the apartment in great shape, and repeatedly thanked me for renting you such a nice apartment.

If you had mentioned your problem with the bed, I would have been happy to have addressed it or found you another apartment. A mattress is always a matter of personal taste, but I purchased this one specifically to support my weak back after an automobile accident. I have been renting my apartment for 8 years and many other guests have confirmed they were completely satisfied with the mattress.

I have always made a concerted effort to ensure an immaculately clean and fully stocked apartment. I'm sorry that I fell short of your expectations. I hope you are enjoying your reunion with friends and family in South Africa.

A very special apartment and a very special and caring owner. I would have loved a better blender and fewer dishes that I didn't need but I really loved the experience. The beds were especially comfortable.

I would also have like a disk player (for movie and music) and more TV channels, especially movie channels in French. I had a computer and could dial up music, but there were always many interruptions for "buffering" so the musical possibilities were limited.

There was a small radio that I listened to sometimes.

To the owner of this furnished apartment:

I want to thank you for my wonderful time in Paris. Everything here was just perfect and you were very helpful.
I cleaned the drains as you requested. I also put the linens and comforter in the washer, so they'll be ready to start. In addition, I cleaned the apartment quickly so everything should be in proper order.

I am writing with regard to the apartment I rented in Paris on Rue des Bourdonnais in the first district. I had a lovely experience living in [this Paris] apartment. It was in great shape when I arrived and had all of the amenities I could ask for.

The building was very quiet and the neighbors were extremely nice. Whenever I had a question for the owner she always responded very quickly and provided me with the information I needed.

The apartment was very clean and had enough space where I could hang out and watch TV in one part of the apartment and then go to sleep in another section. I highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment I stayed in was great. It was clean and functional and the owner was very helpful. It was not however, located in a safe area. I was constantly harassed by people who were hanging around on the street outside. As a single female it was a slightly scary neighbourhood to live in.

Again, the apartment itself was great and NYHabitat worked well for me.
