This two bedroom villa is located a few blocks from the heart of Saint Remy de Provence in les Alpilles, South of France.

The furnished villa is nearby the owners villa but it is completely independent and benefit from a private terrace and garden space with counter current swimming device.

This vacation rental opens directly onto a shaded terrace and a private garden space.

There are nice terracotta tiles.

The accommodation is totally enclosed with automated gate access.

Private parking is available in front of the villa.

The living room faces east and offers nice views onto the garden and the swimming pool.

This villa is close to the center of Saint Remy de Provence in the Alpilles (south of France).

Very easy walk to the town center.

You can rent bicycles in Saint-Rémy (route de Cavaillon) or discover the Alpilles horseback riding. An equestrian center in Saint-Rémy organizes tours during summertime. The local market of Saint-Rémy is on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the main street going all around the village.

The famous ruins of Glanum are nearby : an archeological site from the first century BC. It's definitely worth a look. For paintings lovers, the hospital where Vincent Van Gogh stayed (Cloître Saint-Paul) is also a good excursion for the day. You may even recognize one of the landscapes he drew while he was there.

The closest highway is the A7, exit Cavaillon, 20 minutes drive away, that goes from Lyon to Marseille with connections for all major cities of the south east of France.

The closest train station is at Avignon and is served by the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse) that goes to Paris in 2 hours and 40 minutes !

The closest airport is Avignon as well with daily flights to Paris. But most international connections are made through the international airports of Marseille-Marignane or Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

The owner was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The place was very quiet and peaceful with ample parking and security, and freedom of movement. Ideally situated for both the town and the key sites in St Remy and easy access to drive and visit other places. We enjoyed our stay very much. An ideal base.

This was a wonderful vacation home that suited our needs perfectly. It was very private and quiet on a lovely property, and centrally located for day-trips all around Provence. The owner was gracious and hospitable and made us feel very welcome.
