This fully furnished one bedroom apartment is located in the coveted West Village of Manhattan, New York near Greenwich Village. The apartment, on Horatio Street off Hudson, is on the 3rd and top floor of a walk-up townhouse with a video intercom/buzzer system (this would be considered the 2nd floor by Europeans). There is the convenience of shared laundry facilities in the basement of the building.
This apartment features antique furnishings, hardwood floors, a balcony off of the living room and air conditioning. The living room has a queen size bed, a dining table and a working fireplace. All the necessary cooking equipment is provided in the separate kitchen, including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and a dishwasher. This apartment is found on Horatio Street in the West Village is an area where local residents, students and business professionals reside side by side and enjoy all that the neighborhood has to offer. This area is a tangle of streets, alleys, and hidden courts that sets this iconoclastic little neighborhood apart from Manhattan’s monotonously rigid street grid. There are also many landmark buildings such as The Little School House, famous jazz clubs such as The Blue Note, S.O.B's , the Village Vanguard, Bradley’s,or Sweet Basil. You can take a walk in the Hudson River park near by the apartment or in the Highline park which is just around the corner and also offers attractive walks.
