The owner is so nice, we have a very good time. The only problem is they do not provide air conditioner but a big fan. So it's a little bit hot in summer. All others are perfect.

Dear Qi,
Thank you for your kind review.
We are sorry for the lack of AC. It is not my fault. The fire department does not allow ac units on
windows that lead to the fire escape neither does building owners. That is why I provided a super size fan.

I want to be as impartial as possible. Advantages: - a few steps from line 1 of the subway and you can be in Times Square in less than 30 minutes - secure building with two doors and security camera - elevator - flat screen television with high-definition premium channels - small and clean bathroom (it smells the fragrance of lavender) - nice paintings and mirror in the bedroom - nice and polite owners Disadvantages: - small apartment and no access to the kitchen - the bed mattress is worn out and should be replaced - many interruptions of Wifi connection - many guests were invited in the apartment - popular neighborhood with many hawkers

Thank you, Noreddine, for your feedback. We are glad to see that you enjoyed your stay at the apartment.
It is true that our tenants do not have access to the kitchen, which is specifically advertised on the apartment page.
We just ordered a new bed that should arrive soon.
We are truly sorry that there was an issue with the internet connection. Fortunately, it only happened once and everything was taken care of within a day.
Since we own this apartment it is important for us to make sure that everything is going well and that our guests enjoy their stay. Because of this, we sometimes have to come to the apartment. I don't need tenants' permission to entertain friends and family.
The neighborhood is very nice, lively, and like pretty much everywhere in New York, there are some hawkers. This is part of the city's charm and has never been a problem for us or any of our tenants.
Best wishes, Carmen and Rafael

I really enjoyed my stay here and if I ever needed somewhere to live for a few days or a few months, this is where I'd stay. Clean, comfortable, and the landlord was really helpful and nice. I definitely recommend this apartment for anyone!

Not a bad apartment, close to everything, very convenient, comfortable, not allowed to have guests was the killer, nice people.

NY Habitat was great, high prices, one month rent as a fee? That's a joke.

Answer by: New York Customer Service

New York Habitat do more than companies who do rent by owner directly. Our agents do listen to your needs in order to do the best "matchmaking", in your case, for your shared apartment with a roommate.

We hope one month fee for a successful apartment rental for a year stay is not that bad in the end, and we are all glad you liked it!
