|
Neighborhood: Midtown west - Hell's Kitchen Subway: A,C, E at 8th Ave and 49th. or N, R at 49th and Broadway.
Gorgeous two-bedroom penthouse apartment located in the heart of NYC - over viewing Times Square - in the historic neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen... Just a few blocks away from the Hudson River, within the Theatre District and all Broadway shows and just a short walk to Central Park and Times Square.
The apartment is located in a walk-up building on the sixth floor - no elevator. It has hardwood floors throughout and his about 1000 square feet including a large rooftop terrace. Both bedrooms can accommodate 2 people. The kitchen and bathroom have been remodeled entirely recently. The living room is large and very sunny (5 large windows) and has beautiful brick walls; also equipped with desk and Internet wireless connection. There is a large roof terrace, which has a table and chairs. From there you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. There is a clear view of the new high-rises in The Times Square Area, the New Time Warner Center and a small view of the river. The space is filled with sounds of the city from the roar of cars below to the hum of exhausts from nearby restaurants. It is located in a very hip, rapidly growing neighborhood with some of New York greatest restaurants. In a recent article, the New York Times titled..."Twenty years ago a lot of people wouldn't walk down Ninth Avenue. Now it's a restaurant scene" - "Hell's Kitchen, swept out and remodeled".
