Two bedroom apartment in Midtown West
|
Location: New York City, Midtown West on 48th St between 8th and 9th Avenues.
Size: Two-bedroom apartment, one living room, an open kitchen and one and a half bathroom. Sleeps up to 6 people.
Building: In the heart of Manhattan, this apartment occupies the second floor of a lovely brownstone house. The entrance is very secure. The front door locks itself automatically. Visitors are welcome through an intercom system. The building is in very good condition.
Interior: The apartment has a very cozy feel to it, and you will feel at home once you enter. It is large enough that it can provide a double-size futon bed in the living room, a dining table with chairs, TV with cable. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed (for 2 people) and in the second bedroom, there are two twin beds, which can be put together and convert into a king-size bed that sleeps 2 people very comfortably. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc. The apartment has AC, telephone, and all the comfort to make you feel at home. There is one and a half bathroom. The full bathroom has a shower, tub, toilet sink and is modern and in great shape. The half bath has just a toilet and a sink, and is also in very good condition. Bed linen and towels are provided for all the beds.
Neighborhood: West of the Theater District is a residential neighborhood known as Clinton. This Midtown area has undergone an amazing revival. Its new residents are young professionals, theater people and remnants of the old immigrant groups (Irish, Greeks, Eastern Europeans and Puerto Ricans). Lots of new restaurants and bars along 9th Ave for all budgets cater to the rapidly growing newcomers. Restaurant Row (46th St between 8th and 9th Avenues) is a long block of restaurants and pubs side by side, all packed with theatergoers before curtain time. From this great location you are two blocks away from busy Times Square area and the Theater District, Within an easy walk to Central Park, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, St Patrick Cathedral and Fifth Ave.
Others: Public transportation is everywhere. Buses and Subway stations are all few steps away. Taxis are available day and night
