Unique West Village Loft
|
This beautiful one bedroom loft apartment is located in the West Village. It is on the 7th Floor of a luxury prewar, very high ceilinged, doorman, full service elevator building. It is one of the luxurious buildings in downtown Manhattan. The building is located 2 blocks from the Hudson river and only 1 minute away from two beautiful piers near Christopher/Perry streets. It has beautiful roof decks with amazing NY city views, the Hudson river views, the Empire State Building, the Chrystler, etc. The roof features comfortable lounging chairs and tables for the building's residents' convenience. There is also a gym in the building, a laundry room, and a refuse room on every floor.
This clean, highly maintained apartment features river views and a very big, arched, south-facing window. Lots of light is flooding in throughout the day, and amazing sunset views in the evening. The size of the apt. is approx. 900SQF. It can sleep one person or a couple very comfortably, and an additional couple can sleep on an available inflatable bed in the living room.
You enter into an entry hall with big bookshelves, a big coat closet and a wall sized mirror. If you go straight, you'll reach the spacious living room, kitchen and dining area - they are fully furnished with couches, a stereo, cable tv (incl. HBO), a desk, a fully equipped kitchen, and dining table for up to 8 people. There are lovely photos and plants all around, and the atmosphere is very spacious and airy. The kitchen is equipped with dish washer, microwave, fridge, oven, high end cooking ware and tableware.
From the entry hallway, if walk left and up the stairs you reach the bathroom. It is pristine white, with marble tiles and big mirrors. Fresh clean towels are provided.
Further up the stairs to the second duplex level is the bedroom. It has a very comfortable queen size bed, an antique Japanese chest, a closet, and a white rug. It faces the living room from above and gets good light and air, but feels very cosy and intimate.
Neighborhood: Located in the heart of West Greenwich Village (two blocks from the Hudson River). This historical and picturesque neighborhood is wonderful just to walk the quaint streets and enjoy the architecture or if you are in the mood to take in the sight of the Hudson River, there is a lovely path/park that runs along the river down to Battery Park. There are plenty of restaurants all within short walking distance ranging from casual to formal, Bohemian to chic. Views include charming Abingdon Square Park with vintage Greenwich Village skyline (location is in a historic-designated area) this is one of few areas in the Village where one sees open sky, trees and buildings. It is close (few blocks - 8 min walk) to two separate subway stops - A,C,E,L at 14th st and 1,2,3,9 at Christopher street entrance. It is also close to M11 bus stop -1 block. The apartment is just a few minutes walk to Chelsea, and Soho.
