Alcove Studio in The Upper West Side accross the street from Central Park
|
This alcove studio is located on in The Upper West Side less than a block from Central Park and around the corner from the B,C trains. The location is ideal for those wishing to enjoy time in the park and to be able to get to other points within the city quickly.
The apartment is an alcove studio located on the first floor of a 24-hour doorman building.
The apartment is nicely decorated with new white furniture and high-tech audio/visual equipment.
When you enter the apartment the kitchen is just on the left. It is fully equipped and includes all of the necessary plates, utensils, pots and pans. There is a coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and microwave.
The main room is L shaped and has a living space and a part for the bed. On the right side there is a nice dining table, which can seat four. Then there is a leather sofa in the living part. On wall there is a flat screen TV connected to a top-quality bose sound system. There is also a DVD player. TV5 from France is available. The bed is located on the leg of the L and is full sized. There is an air conditioner in the room. There is also plenty of closet space in the built-in cabinets. Just next to the bed is a large book cabinet that separates the bedroom section of the alcove from the office section. In the office section there is a desk with high-speed Internet access available. There is also a large bookshelf/cabinet with space for belongings.
The bathroom is next to the office and has been recently redone. It includes a tub/shower, a w/c and a sink with vanity and medicine cabinet.
The apartment's Upper West location is great for enjoying the park and the great restaurants on Amsterdam and Broadway. There is plenty of local shopping on Broadway including vintage bookstores, specialty food shops and clothing stores.
