Studio in a brownstone in The Upper West Side
This studio is located in a classic brownstone building in the Upper West side just a block from Riverside Drive and two blocks from Broadway. The unit is on the fifth floor and the building has no elevator.

The living room is fully furnished and includes a twin sofa bed and a TV. The bed in the room is a queen-sized murphy bed. There is also a dining table for two people.

The kitchen is open to the living room and includes a small refrigerator, a gas stove top for cooking, and a microwave. There is also a coffee maker and toaster. Basic pots, pans, dishes and utensils are provided.

The bathroom is standard. There is a tub/shower, a w/c and a sink with vanity.

The apartment is located in one of Manhattan's most popular residential neighborhoods. There are a verity of restaurants, fine food stores and shops with-in walking distance. An added benefit is that the 72nd street subway station features the 1 local train as well of the 2,3 express trains. The express trains reach midtown in 5 minutes and downtown in 15 minutes. Cross-town connections are convenient at 42nd street.

Please note: The building is in a state of renovation/construction although no current work is taking place, and therefore there is no construction noise, signs of construction are still evident in common areas of the building (for example, the building entry area).

 This apartment was nice: bathroom with hot water, little kitchen, a good bed. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
I rented an apartment through New York Habitat from 26th December to 1st January in New York. This vacation rental was nice: bathroom with hot water, little kitchen, a good bed. The apartment was clean and comfortable. In spite of cold temperature outside, the heating was great in it! It was near the subway so it was a pleasure to walk a little for taking it. The price was not too expensive so I think we have done the good choice to rent this apartment instead of going in hotel. In conclusion, I will recommend New York Habitat to my friends.
