We stayed on 48th street, in a very nice flat with a small terrace on top of our 2 floors. Everything was as we saw on Internet pictures a few months ago when I booked this flat: very comfortable, nice, clean, very good beds, and very well located near subways and taxis from Belvedere Hotel. We [met owner's] driver at Newark and for the drive back to the airport; a nice man, just as [the owner] is, very pleasant and trust[worthy].
We went to the Met and [saw] Aïda, the Minskof Theater for Lion King, restaurants, and walking and walking remembering films and books of New York! My children and my husband are so impressed and happy as I was thirty years ago when I first stayed a week as a student.
Of course everybody intends to visit again.

The owner of the vacation rental was really helpful and he made our stay even better with all his suggestions. I would not hesitate to stay there again and will be recommending it to my friends when they travel to New York. |

2 minutes walk to restaurants and grocers, 5 minutes to the subway and Broadway.
Between walking to explore the city and the subway to get that little bit further we felt we had the whole of Manhattan at our doorstep.
Also the owner was super helpful and the [vacation rental] was roomy, especially after hotel rooms as well as lovely and clean.
We have already recommended it to friends. |

The vacation rental was nice and clean. The kitchen could have been better equipped (for instance with sets of identical plates, glasses, cutlery etc.).

We were very impressed with the [Chelsea] apartment we stayed in. It was very central, clean, light and a great size for a family visit. It was great having a washing machine and dryer in the vacation rental. The location would be hard to beat. We had other family staying in another apartment nearby and our one was a lot nicer. It was also appreciated that there were no personal items around (such as photos etc which were in our other family's apartment).
I would highly recommend this apartment, the owner was also lovely to deal with on arrival. |

The apartment was nice, we had a good time, the location was great - so central to most places and only a stone's throw away from Times Square.
One of the toilets got stuck once and I called the landlord and he attended to it immediately.
We will definitely go through New York Habitat again and will encourage friends from Australia who are looking for a place to stay in New York to use your services.

We were met at the airport by a colleague of the vacation rental owner, and he was brilliant for first time visitors to the city. Very friendly and informative.

This was a fabulous apartment for a group of women and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something similar. |

The apartment worked out very well for myself and my 5 friends. It's very central location was perfect for our daily trekking about the city. And we found several fantastic restaurants very close by. I was especially pleased that the vacation rental came well stocked with essentials such as toilet paper, paper towel and soap. That made it very convenient for us as we arrived in the city quite late. The rooftop terrace was a special treat and we spent many hours up there. This was a fabulous apartment for a group of women and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something similar.
I would also highly recommend New York Habitat. My numerous emails and phone calls with [my agent] were received with much patience and great customer service.
When I travel to NYC again in the future, I will definitely enlist the
services of New York Habitat again.
