Studio in a classic townhouse
|
This studio apartment is located on the first floor of a historic Harlem townhouse.
The apartment is at the front of the building so it views directly on to the front Veranda through its huge floor to ceiling front window.
The bedroom includes a trundle bed, dresser and two large closets. There is a TV with cable access.
The kitchen is basic but new. There is a stove, refrigerator and sink. All of the basic kitchen equipment is provided.
There is also a small dining table with two chairs.
The bathroom includes a tub/shower, w/c and sink.
The building is located in central Harlem in an area of great renewal. The block features historic townhouses with verandas out-front of each. The city has made this block a landmark preservation block.
The closest subways are the 2,3 trains at 125th Street. There is plenty of cross-town bus service on 125th Street including the M60 which goes from Columbia University to La Guardia Airport via 125th Street. Right on the corner there is a 5th Avenue bus, which runs downtown.
