This apartment is located in West Chelsea along 22nd Street near the Chelsea piers. The apartment is in a renovated loft building and includes original details such as brick walls and refinished cement floors.
The apartment is spacious with one large bedroom and one small bedroom, a large living room and open kitchen.
The first bedroom is the "master bedroom" though it is the smaller room. It includes a queen sized bed a cabinet/shelf.
The second bedroom is perfect for kids. It has two single sized loft beds with desks below. The room has large windows facing the street and an a/c.
The large living room includes a dining area with a large table that can easily seat 10, and then a living area that has a queen sized pullout sofa and several chairs. There is a desk with internet access and a TV with DVD and cable.
The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils. There is also a washer and dryer.
The bathroom includes a tub/shower, w/c and sink with medicine cabinet. There is a window near the tub facing out to the living room that lets in light.
The building has a part-time door man and an elevator with keyed access.
The closest subways are at 23rd Street and 8th Avenue (C,E trains). The area includes many Galleries lining the side street and there is Chelsea Piers and the Hudson River Parks one block away. The street gets relatively little traffic because the block flows the opposite direction as the rest of 22nd Street making it quieter then many blocks in New York.
