2 bedroom Apartment in Chinatown
|
This apartment is located on Hester Street between Eldridge and Allen Street in the Lower East Side. This two-bedroom loft apartment is on the 1st floor of a prewar building and has a size of 1200 Square feet. It sleeps three people and one small child (under five).
Enter the apartment with old wooden floor and white walls to the living area. The apartment is in a former synagogue. The windows are made of frosted glass. There is an office area in the front of the living room, which features a desk with a computer. There is wireless Internet access though out the apartment. A TV, VCR and DVD is available for your Entertainment. Lots of finished and unfinished artwork is around in the living room and the tools and utensils from the artist.
Just off the living room is the master bedroom. This room is separated by French door. There is a full sized bed and several dressers in the room. There is a window that is about five feet off the ground that looks into the other bedroom. It allows light to come in from where every there is light.
Down the hall from the living area is the Eat-in kitchen, which is fully equipped with a fridge, sink, stove and cream, colored cabinets. Plenty of cooking utensils are provided. A table with chair four chairs invites you for dining. There is an air conditioner in the back room which cools the back part of the house. There is also a washer and dryer in this section of the apartment.
The entrance to the second bedroom is from the kitchen. The bedroom features a twin bed and a child sized twin bed. There are several dressers. This is obviously a children's bedroom and features art drawn directly on the walls lots of books and toys.
This apartment has a special atmosphere and is for people they are open to like the combination of living and artist space that is kid friendly
Just a few blocks away are the lively Chinatown with its food vendors and countless shops.
Little Italy is just a stone throw away and offers lots of dining and cafes.
The Lower East Side had recently a renaissance and has lots of clubs, bars and restaurants. The neighborhood is dynamic and youthful.
