In East of Midtown this charmingly decorated studio apartment is located on 58th Street between Second and Third Avenue. It is on the 3rd floor of a prewar building.
The apartments offers many amenities such as a fax service, fresh flowers, a telephone and answering machine and bath salts.
This studio apartment is about 450 square feet and can sleep 2 people (a cot can be added for a child).
In the middle there is a full size futon. It has a TV with cable, VCR, a stereo and air conditioning. In a corner you can find a diner table with two chairs.
There are three large windows. The open kitchen is fully stocked. The kitchen has a sink, a fridge, stove and enough dinnerware to provide a light meal. The bathroom is very nice. A private bath with a shower and a tub and toilet. Sheets and towels are provided.
Located in the Midtown East, this apartment is situated at the heart of Manhattan's most sophisticated and most sought-after area. Landmark New York buildings nearby include the metal tipped tower of the Chrysler building, the enormous Met Life building which punctuates the wide expanse of Park Avenue, and the famous modernist slab of the United Nations building. The numerous boutiques, specialty stores and antique shops cater for people with a taste for quality goods. Central Park is just within walking distance.
Public transportation in Manhattan is easy to find. Subway stations are located within walking distance of the apartment, and cross-town buses travel at regular hours. New York's legendary yellow taxis can be hailed anywhere at any time of the day or night.
