Comfortable one bedroom in the East Village.
This is a one-bedroom apartment located on East 4th Street between Avenues A and B in the East Village. The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a prewar building and is approximately 600 square feet. It gets a lot of southern exposure-light throughout the day.
There are white colored hardwood floors in the bedroom and living room. The hallway and kitchen is Laminated flooring. This apartment can sleep two people. Both the kitchen and the bathroom are combined. There is a frosted glass dining table with three chairs, a stove, fridge, sink and plenty of cooking utensils. In the opposite corner is an enclosed glass door shower and in the corner a sink and WC. The living room is furnished with a sofa, shelving, High Definition TV, DVD, Bose Entertaintment unit, stereo and large plant. The two windows make it very bright and airy.

The bedroom is off the living room and divided by French doors from the kitchen. It has a double size bed, and wardrobes to hang clothing, along with chest of drawers (used as bedside table). There is one window in the bedroom. There will be sheets and towels provided. The apartment is simple/minimalist but very cozy feeling.

This apartment is in an energetic and trendy neighborhood. The block alone has 5 restaurants listed on Zagat and Timeout NY. Two of the restaurants are the front of the building (either side of the building entrance)! The East Village is a neighborhood that appeals to the young and the young-at heart! It is known for its intriguing boutiques, thrift shops, the myriad of restaurants with every type of food in all ranges, the Off-Broadway theaters, the coffeehouses, the clubs and bars (which there's ample in this neighborhood)! There is also Tompkins Square Park located just 3 blocks away.

Transportation is easily accessible with the F and V train at 2nd Avenue and Houston Street.

[The New York accommodation owner] was a great host, very clear and fair... [...] The apartment was great and the area we stayed in was fantastic, so close to everything we really enjoyed our stay in New York City. I would recommend that vacation rental to any of my friends. Thanks a lot and have a great day.
