Studio apartment in a Brownstone in Midtown East
|
This 1999 renovated studio is located on the ground floor of a brownstone townhouse, built in the 18th century in Manhattan's Turtle Bay area between First and Second avenues. The owners live in the building and are available to answer questions about New York City.
The 350 square foot apartment is on a quiet, tree-lined street just three blocks from the United Nations and five blocks from Rockefeller Center. The dining, shopping and theaters in the neighborhood are internationally renowned. Radio City Music Hall is a comfortable walk to the west and Lincoln Center just a short cab ride away. Public transportation is two blocks away.
Extensive renovations were undertaken in 1999, resulting in a modern, fully furnished studio which is available for short-term stays. These newly completed, air-conditioned accommodations are tastefully outfitted with a queen-size bed, a fully tiled private bath, cable TV, an AM/FM radio and CD player, complimentary local telephone service, voice mail and a data port. Weekly maid service includes fresh towels and bed linens. There is a dining nook equipped with a convenient microwave, toaster-oven and a refrigerator/freezer with an automatic icemaker.
The owners have created a manual which provides information about the apartment. It also contains carefully selected restaurants in the area and information about the city. There is no smoking allowed in the apartment.
