Two bedroom apartment to rent overlooking Lincoln Center.
|
LOCATION: New York City, overlooking Lincoln Center and the Hudson River, located ˝ block from Central Park.
SIZE: This apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 ˝ baths, a dining room, a living room and an area of about 900 square feet. The apartment sleeps 4 people.
BUILDING: Condominium, forty-four stories tall, with a lobby and a 24-hour staff that includes a concierge staff and a maintenance staff. On the 44th floor there is a health club with a pool, exercise room sauna, steam room, and decks for sunning and admiring the 360 degree view of the city-Central Park, the harbor, the sky scrapers, and bridges, etc. There are laundry facilities on every floor.
INTERIOR: This two bedroom apartment has banks of West-facing windows the width of each room. There are shades and blinds if one wishes, wood floors with Oriental rugs from various places. The master bedroom has a queen-size platform bed and a boom box and the other bedroom has a double futon. The furniture is newly done. The kitchen has it all as the tenant loves to cook, there is also a kitchen radio with a tape deck and cd player. There are two sets of China and every appliance one would want. The artwork is extensive and eclectic and there are two TV's, cable, VCR, a stereo and three phones (two are portables) as well as a house phone. The bathroom has a tub and shower. Owner has a porter - crib for age 0-2.5 years old age. High speed internet available.

NEIGHBORHOOD: Gazing out the windows one looks at the Chagall paintings hanging in the Metropolitan Opera house. All of Lincoln Center beckons below. And, so do thirteen movie theatres, two famous coffee shops, book, and record store. You can walk ˝ block to Central Park to boat, bike, run, lie around in the sheep meadow, walk to all NYC's famous museums which stretch out along both sides of Central Park or to the Hudson River itself, on 72nd Street. Walking distance to the new Time Warner building with its many shops.
OTHER: Public transportation abounds, six buses and two major subway lines are within 2 blocks, cabs cruise night and day. Restaurants are ubiquitous for dining or for ordering to have deliveries at home.
