One bedroom on the Upper West Side
|
This one bedroom apartment is located on West 79th Street between Broadway & Amsterdam Avenue on the Upper West Side. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a prewar walk-up building. The apartment measures approximately 500 sq. ft. and can sleep two guests comfortably.
Enter the apartment with high ceilings and hard wooden floors, to your left you will find the open kitchen. Very functionally equipped with a stove, microwave and lots of cooking utensils.
Adjacent you will find the conventional bathroom with a tub, shower sink and a WC. Towels are provided.
The living room has two windows and is furnished with a blue L shaped sofa, that folds out into a queen sized bed. Across you will find a large flat screen TV with cable, VCR, DVD and a stereo system. The Phone is available for local calls and there is AC.
The bedroom features a queen sized loft bed. Sheets are provided. Beneath you will find the closet, which the owner makes available. Across you will find a desk with a PC and Internet access.
The Upper West Side is a fairly affluent residential area, rich in bookstores, movie theatres, bars and restaurants, gourmet food outlets, fashion stores and home to dozens of celebrities. To most young and older population attractive due to Columbia University. Interesting features are the famous Columbus Circle, the Javits Convention Center, Lincoln Center, a complex of concert halls and auditoriums, heart of classical music in the city, and the Beacon Theatre. The Claremont Riding Academy, adjacent to the Promander Walk, invites you to rent horses to ride in Central Park.
