Beautiful two bedroom apartment in the West Village.

Location: WEST VILLAGE. Bank Street between West 4th and Bleecker Street.
This apartment is perfect for the discriminating guest. The details inside include hand carved woodwork, a 14ft antique beam ceiling, and gorgeous antiques. The apartment is decorated with various artworks including paintings, prints, and photographs. The street that the apartment is located on contains charming townhouses and is tree lined.
Size: Beautiful 2000 sq.ft. two bedroom, two bathroom apartment located on the 6th floor of a prewar building with an elevator directly to the apartment. The front door is kept locked and entry is with your own key.
Interior: This gorgeous and bright 2-bedroom apartment is elegantly decorated with antique furniture and well kept hardwood floors. Across from the entrance is the small kitchen well equipped with a fridge/freezer, a coffee maker, dishwasher and several cupboards.
A small corridor leads to the huge living room. The living room has a 14ft ceiling, a sofas, a piano, TV/ VCR stereo, cable, antique chairs and a day bed. It is quite a grand room for enjoying the company of friends. On the right side of the living room is the master bedroom, separated from the living by some beautiful wooden doors. 4 large windows in the living room offers view of Manhattan. The bedroom is furnished with a Queen size bed, a combined TV/VCR. Connected to the master bedroom is a study with a desk, and a modern flat screen TV. There are a comfortable leather sofa and chair in the office. The second bedroom is in the front of the building and faces out to Bank St. There is a full sized bed in the room as well as a dining area with a round table for six. It serves as a perfect guest room or a dining room with a view over the city. There are 2 bathrooms. One bathroom is connected to the master bedroom through the walk through closet. This bathroom has a full bath. The second bathroom is off the hall leading to living room. Like the other bathroom, you walk through a hallway lined with closets to get the bathroom, which has a small shower though, no bathtub. Bed linens and towels are provided. There is central A/C.
And, there is a private roof terrace (1000 square feet) where people can lounge and enjoy Manhattan skyline at any time. The view from the terrace is magnificent and includes views of the Empire State Building and downtown. There is also a 1000 square foot storage space in the basement for use during longer stays. One of the gret attractions of the apt is that it has views on all four sides. Four exposres. As the apt. height is 6th floor, considerably heigher than the landmarks requirement in the West Village, the views are stunning.
Smoking is not allowed and pets are not accepted.
Neighborhood: The West Village has always been a vibrant, thriving and exciting place. Washington Square Park is famous for its chess players and musicians, its poets and performers. New York University is nearby making this area a "college town" of sorts. It is also a famous area for jazz clubs, night clubs and bars, restaurants and specialty stores. The location within the neighborhood is convenient to many restaurants on West 4th street
