Very nice, cozy one bedroom apartment in Midtown East
|
This 1999 renovated one-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a brownstone townhouse. It was built in the 18th century in Manhattan's Turtle Bay area between First and Second Avenues. The owners live in the building and are available to answer questions about New York City.
The 650 square foot apartment is on a quiet, tree-lined street just three blocks from the United Nations and five blocks from Rockefeller Center. The dining, shopping and theaters in the neighborhood are internationally renowned. Radio City Music Hall is a comfortable walk to the west and Lincoln Center just a short cab ride away. Public transportation is two blocks away.
The apartment is modern, fully furnished and is available for short-term stays. The newly completed air-conditioned accommodation has a queen-size bed in the bedroom, queen-size sofa bed in the living room, fully tiled private bath, cable TV (both in the bedroom and the living room), AM/FM radio and CD player, complimentary local telephone service, voice mail and data port. Weekly maid service includes fresh towels and bed linens. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, toaster-oven, refrigerator/freezer with automatic icemaker, dishwasher, stove, pots and pans, etc. A dining table with chairs allows for enjoying meals at home.
The owners have created a manual which provides information about the apartment. It also contains carefully selected restaurants in the area and information about the city. There is no smoking allowed in the apartment.
