Quiet apt in the heart of St-Germain
|
Situated in the Quartier Latin, between Place Maubert and Quai de Montebello.
A few steps from the Seine River and Notre Dame Cathedral, this little street is placed in one of the most youthful areas of Paris, the Quartier Latin, showing numerous monuments and other points of interest, three renowned traditional open air markets - Maubert, Mouffetard, and Monge -, as well as a large choice of traditional and international restaurants, diverse pleasing cafes, and all kinds of conveniences.
Located on the 1st floor of a 17th century walk up building equipped with a security system and an intercom this cosy 30m2 studio is northwest exposed, faces a narrow courtyard, has white walls, a nice tiled floor, and 2,50m high ceilings. It is perfect for two people.
Many ceiling built in spotlights and a whole mirror are the main features of the 22m2 living room, furnished with two 0,90cm wide single beds (trundle bed) also acting as sofa, a rectangular dining table and three chairs, two antique armchairs, a recessed closet, a cable TV with basic local channels, a VCR player, a stereo, a telephone, wall paintings, and a window ornate with curtains opening to the narrow and calm courtyard.
The American kitchen is open to the living room. Fit on the L-shaped worktop there are two electric burners a round white sink. Besides, it is equipped with a hood with exhaust fan, a microwave oven, a fridge with freezer compartment, a washing machine, an electric kettle, a toaster, and a floor to ceiling recessed cupboard drawers containing the necessary tableware and utensils.
Decorated with marble tiles the bathroom encloses a tiled shower cabin screened by a glass door, a medicine cabinet above the white ceramic washbasin, toilet, and a window.
The closest metro stations are Maubert Mutualité (line 10), Cardinal Lemoine (line 10), Cluny la Sorbonne (line 10), and Jussieu (lines 7, 10).
