Its central location in the 5th arrondissement of Paris makes it a perfect base to explore the best that the City of Lights has to offer, and the fully furnished spacious interior, the charm of authentic Parisian features mixed with the convenience of modern appliances top it all off! This apartment lies on the first floor (2nd for Americans) of a 20th century building equipped with a security system.
Despite its size (152m²/ 1,635 sq. ft.) this apartment has a cozy feel and has been decorated to make you feel right at home. Upon entering the living area, passing through the hallway, you will be impressed by the amount of light coming through the 3 large bay windows. With its sun room, the living area will be the perfect place to relax and take advantage of natural sunlight. Here the large space and white walls are warmed up by the charm of hardwood floors, fireplaces and a piano, and the warm color of the sofa and armchair. The wall-to-wall built-in bookshelves also make an impressive statement. Contrasting with the authentic features of the living room, the kitchen features modern appliances such as granite countertops, cooking island with 4-burner vitro ceramic stove and exhaust hood and all the necessities to cook at home. Enjoy a quick breakfast at the marble topped island with bar stools, or a more formal dinner in the open dining area (living room 2).
With their white walls, decorative fireplace and windows overlooking the courtyard, each of the three bedrooms provides the ideal calm, restful space after a long day exploring the city!
This apartment is on Rue Pierre et Marie Curie and Rue St.Jacques, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris and historic heart of the Latin Quarter. As you walk around your neighborhood, you will come across many tourist sights, such as:
- The Panthéon: this neoclassical-style mausoleum is the resting place of many of France's great minds. 350m / .2 miles.
- The Sorbonne: walk up Rue Saint Jacques until you reach the Sorbonne, one of Europe's oldest universities, and stop at one of the many cafes that line the Sorbonne Plaza.
- The Luxembourg Gardens: only a block away is Paris' favorite spot to stroll, relax, meet up with friends for a picnic. At the north of the park, The Luxemburg Palace houses members of the French Senate.
- Jardin des Plantes: the expansive gardens here display countless varieties of plants. This is also the site of Paris' National Museum of Natural History. 1km / 0.6 miles
The nearest metro stations are Luxembourg (RER B) running north - south through the city center, and Cluny-La Sorbonne, served by the metro line 10 that runs east- west on the left bank.

his was a lovely apartment. Unfortunately we visited in the middle of a heat wave----99 degrees F. outside when we arrived! Despite no ac there were fans in each bedroom and with the airy floor plan, high ceilings, and large windows to open after the heat of the day we were reasonably comfortable. There were 7 members of our family and the space was more than enough with comfortable beds and adequate bathrooms. The kitchen was great---but we decided it was too hot to cook---- except for breakfast and 2 casual dinners in. The location was perfect and we loved being able to walk to Luxembourg gardens. There were cafes, a bakery and a market nearby. It was nice to have the basics supplied --- DW detergent, laundry detergent, sugar, spices, etc. We would definitely recommend this beautifully decorated apartment to friends. |

Three genreations of our family stayed in this wonderfully equipped and located apartment. Fabulous book and music collections were extras we had not expected. The ambiance was reflective of the latin Quarter. |

Very pleasant stay in Paris. The vacation rental is ideal, quiet, warm and very comfortable. The welcome is perfect. We also enjoyed the neighborhood near the Luxembourg gardens (to go running in the morning!), le liveliness of rue Mouffetard, the many bookstores and the historical richness you find on every street corner |
