Located between Rue de la Roquette and Rue St Maur, this spacious 40m² one bedroom is just a few minutes away from the Oberkampf area, the Place de la Bastille and the Place de la République. These neighborhoods are well-known for the Opera Bastille built for the 200th Anniversary of the French Revolution. They are also renowned for their cafes, restaurants, and night life in the Oberkampf area. Any facilities and services are available down the street. The apartment is situated on the fourth floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system. The apartment faces the street with a nice garden and the courtyard. It has an eastern/western exposure. The walls are painted white and there is wood floor everywhere except in the kitchen, the bathroom and the toilet, which are tiled. The apartment is divided as follows: The entry door opens onto a large hallway that leads to the separate toilet, the bathroom and the kitchen on the right-hand side, the living room on the left-hand side. The bedroom connects with the living room. The 12m² living room has a window with manual shutters facing the street. It has a decorative fireplace and it is furnished with a dining table, a desk, a phone and a stereo. The 11m² bedroom has a window with manual shutters and double-glazing facing the street. It is decorated with a 140cm-wide bed, a large built-in wall wardrobe, a secretary, a chest of drawers, a cabled TV with a combined VCR. The bathroom has a window facing the courtyard, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror, a bath with a wall-mounted showerhead and a washing machine/dryer. The separate eat-in kitchen has a window facing the courtyard. It is equipped with a fridge, a dishwasher, an electric oven, an electric burner and three gas burners, a double stainless-steel sink, a coffee maker and a toaster. It has all necessary utensils. Heating and water heater are individual and electric. The nearest metro station is Voltaire (line 9).
