Space full and charming 3 bedrooms in the heart of Saint Germain
|
This 3 bedrooms apartment is located in a small selected street in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Près. One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, here also are number of selected restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American writers. Just beside is the new Marché Saint Germain (Fashion Market) and a few steps away rue de Buci features a special atmosphere with its open-air market. The neighborhood is also very famous for its refined art galleries and designers' fashion shops. Finally it is at a walking distance from the Ile de la Cité and the Ile Saint Louis.
This very charming 150 m2 (approx. 1610 sq ft) apartment is located on the third floor of an antique recessed building from the 17th century, in a nice and calm courtyard. The apartment has a Southern exposure. It has a digicode security system as well as a concierge.
The layout is as followed.
The entrance door opens on a hall, which gives an access straight ahead to the spacious dining room and in the dining room there is a door that leads to the kitchen. The kitchen opens on a laundry room and a small toilet next to it. There is a service door that can be used in the laundry room. On the left side of the entrance hall, there is the hallway, which leads to all the rooms. All the way down the corridor straight ahead is the first bathroom, then on the left of the bathroom there is a door that leads to the kitchen. Going back up this hallway there is to the right, the master bedroom, the second bedroom, the living room and finally the third bedroom and the second bathroom straight ahead. All the bedrooms and the living room are connected.
This apartment is spacious and easy to live in with its modern style interior design. It has just enough to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. For instance all the walls are painted in white and there is hard-wood floors in the living and in two bedrooms. And there is a convenient built-in bookshelf in the hallway.
The living room has two double-glazed windows with white curtains and overlooking the street. It is furnished with a large red corner sofa and an exotic style wooden coffee table in front of it. There is also a marble decorative fireplace surmounted by a mirror with two large built-in bookshelves on its sides. This living room is very well equipped with a Stereo, a flat screen TV with DVD player and cable and with a telephone.
The dining room has two windows with beige curtains, facing the paved courtyard. In a corner of this room, there is a little built-in closet and above it an arched recess decorated with a lamp, a statue of a woman in the Art Nouveau style. The round table with its matching chairs is in the center of this room. There is also a sideboard, which is used as a dresser.
The first bedroom has two windows with purple curtains. This room is a queen size bed, a desk, four built-in closet and a bookshelf above the two beds. There is also a decorative fireplace lamps and decorative items.
The second bedroom has two windows with white curtains. There are two single-size beds, two armchairs and two built-in closets. This spacious bedroom is decorated with a large mirror and some other antique items.
The third bedroom has one window with white net curtains and red curtains with a view on the street. It is furnished with a queen size bed surmounted by a bookshelf. There is also a built-in closet, an armchair, lamps and few decorative items.
The first bathroom is totally tiled in white and is equipped with a bathtub and a double washbasin surmounted by a cabinet with mirrors.
The second bathroom is totally tiled in white and is equipped with a bathtub, a single washbasin surmounted by a cabinet with mirrors. There is a toilet in a recess of the room
The kitchen is both convenient and stylish in a modern way with its white walls, slate tiled floor and worktop. It is equipped with four vitro ceramic plates, a traditional oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a freezer and a dishwasher. There are all necessary utensils.
The laundry room has a washing machine, a dryer and shelves.
The closest subway stations are St-Germain des Prés (Line 4) and Mabillon (line 4).
