one-bedroom apartment close to the famous Luxembourg Garden

Neighborhood:
Neighboring the splendid Luxembourg Garden, this mostly residential street is part of the "Quartier Latin", one of the most youthful areas of Paris. It is a few steps from the Pantheon, which is among the most important Parisian points of interest. Today it is a secular temple sheltering the remains of the great men of France (for instance, Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Emile Zola, Marie and Pierre Curie). Within walking distance is the Sorbonne University, as well as the Seine River with its traditional second hand booksellers and delectable islands. There are numerous restaurants and cafes, diverse sorts of shops, and other quality conveniences such as Maubert Mutualité and Mouffetard open-air markets, supermarkets, and fine bakeries.
Premises:
This 65m² one bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor of a 1970's building. The main entrance gate is protected by an intercom and a coded security system.
Layout:
The entrance door opens into a hall, which leads straight to the living room and the separate kitchen, and to the left is a hallway. This hallway goes to the bathroom and to the bedroom. The living room has a French window opening onto a private garden.
The 27m² living room has a bay window and a French window, which open into the garden. It is furnished with a double sofa bed, a coffee table, two armchairs, a cupboard, an antique style desk, a dining table with chairs and a console with a cable TV.
The 16m² bedroom has a window facing the garden. It is furnished with two single twin beds joined together, two bedside tables, shelves, a desk with a chair, and an armchair.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, a microwave oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a washing machine, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a toaster.
The bathroom has a shower, a sink and a toilette.
The entrance hall and hallway leading to the bedroom have large built-in closets.
The nearest metro station is Port Royal (RER B).
Heat and hot water are collective.
