This furnished apartment is located on Rue Saint Antoine between Rue de Rivoli and Rue Saint Paul, a busy street in the heart of the Marais. This historic Parisian district offers a variety of shops as well as numerous select, international, and simple restaurants and pleasant cafes. The charming royal Place des Vosges, known for its art galleries and for the residence of famous French novelist Victor Hugo (Les Miserables), who lived there from 1832 to 1848, is only a short walk from this accommodation. A little further away is Place de la Bastille, a symbol of the French Republic and a significant point of interest. There is a variety of services and conveniences in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 23m˛ (approx. 248 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the third floor of a 19th-century walk-up building. The main entrance gate with an intercom opens onto a corridor that leads to another door with an intercom. The latter opens onto a paved courtyard that allows access to the building's staircase. The apartment has exposed ceiling beams.
The 16m˛ (approx. 172 sq. ft.) living room has a window with southern exposure overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a contemporary dining table with a chair, and a large cabinet with a flatscreen television and bookshelves. one single extra mattress is available for the third person.
The separate bathroom has a shower topped with a showerhead, a washbasin, a toilet, and a towel-dryer.
The small but well-arranged open kitchen has a window and is equipped with two vitroceramic plates, a microwave, a small refrigerator, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
There is also a closet holding a combination washing machine/dryer.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Saint Paul (line 1).
