One bedroom apartment close to the Place de la Bastille

Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is located on Rue de Lappe between Rue de Charonne and Rue de la Roquette. It is only within five minutes walking distance and one metro station to the Place de la Bastille with one of the best opera houses in the world. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous shops, various restaurants, cafes and markets, such as the well-known Parisian market rue Richard Lenoir (Thursday and Sunday mornings). The apartment is very centrally located and is also very close to the fashionable and old Marais. Premises: This 70m² (approx. 750 sq. ft.) furnished one bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor (1st floor in the USA) of a 19th century walk up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a hall followed by a courtyard. The entrance is the second on the left. The apartment opens into the living room and the open kitchen, followed by the separate toilet and then the bathroom to your left. You have to cross the bathroom in order to access the bedroom. All rooms except for the bathroom and toilet have large window fronts. However, there is only a small part of the windows that opens. The 45m² (approx. 485 sq.ft.) living room has concrete floor and a view on the courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a dining table with seven chairs, a coffee table, an armchair and shelves. There is also a desk with a chair, a stereo and a TV with a DVD player. The door, which is part of the window front, does not open. The 11m² (approx 120 sq.ft.) bedroom has concrete floor and a view on the courtyard, as well. It is furnished with a double size bed, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a built in closet. The open kitchen has a large countertop and is equipped with four gas plates topped by an exhaust fan, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. It also has an oven, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee maker. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a heated towel rack and a washbasin. The separate toilet has a washer. Heat and hot water use gas and are individual. Internet access is available.
