This furnished one bedroom apartment is located in the Montmartre neighborhood in Paris. It is on the third floor of a Haussmanian building without elevator. Access to the building is granted through a coded system. A superintendent is available on site.
This vacation rental combines ancient and contemporary elements, mixing wooden beams, mouldings and a marble chimney with design furniture. The two small balconies are streetside on rue Ganneron.
The accommodation is exposed northwest in the living room and the bedroom with a view on the street. Exposure of the kitchen is southeast with a view on the courtyard.
This vacation rental is located on rue Ganneron close to the Place de Clichy, a very lively and commercial area. Among the cafés and restaurants in the neighborhood is the 'Perroquet Vert", a cosy tavern with a fireplace. The 'Moulin Rouge', famous Parisian cabaret known for the French Cancan is just a couple of blocks from the apartment. Also just a stonethrow away is the Place de Clichy in the Batignolles neighborhood, an area with village charms. It is a dynamic neighborhood with many art studios and galeries on rue Legendre, rue des Batignolles and Avenue de Clichy.
On the other side of Place de Clichy you can see the Montmartre hill from afar. In Montmartre you can enjoy the spectacular views of the city and visit the Sacred Heart Basilica. In order to get there you can either take the funiculaire or for the brave, climb the 220 steps.
We found the cooking utilities unsatisfactory. We wanted an apartment so we could cook but the lack of utensils and space in the kitchen made it a challenge so we ended up eating out most of the time. It was almost as if the kitchen was just for show!

Further to this review, the owner explained that he lives in this apartment and that he leaves all utensils and condiments for clients, which is enough to cook everyday in the apartment. The owner gave us an inventory list of equipments in the apartment so future clients can inquire.
