This 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment situated on the 3rd French floor of a building with elevator is located in a peaceful street between Avenue du Marechal Juin and Boulevard Alexandre III. This accommodation is available for weekly and monthly rentals throughout the year and sleeps 5 people maximum. The apartment faces south and west and the street. You enter the apartment through a small entrance hall. The living room has 2 bay windows, one opening onto a balcony, the other one opening onto a small terrace.It is furnished with a large sofa and a coffee table. There is a dining table with comfortable chairs. A flat screen TV is available. The open kitchen is separated from the living by an eating counter. It is equipped with a stove, 4 vitro-ceramic hotplates, a refrigerator, a microwave oven and a washing machine. The first bedroom has a double size bed with bed side tables and a chest of drawers. There is a bay window that opening onto the balcony overlooking the quiet street. The second bedroom has two single beds and a built in closet. There is a window opening onto balcony. The bathroom has a washbasin and a bathtub. There is a separate toilet. There is a DSL Internet Access The apartment is wonderfully located, about 10 minutes walk from La Croisette and 15 to 20 min walk to Le Palais des festival (less than 5 min drive away.). There are all kinds of shop with very short walking distance. The white-sand beach across La Croisette is usually crowded but remains one of the most famous throughout the French Riviera. After W.W. II, Cannes quickly became the haunt of crowned heads and billionaires, then the city of Stars, Festivals and International Conventions. Mostly famous for its International Film Festival (in May) the town regularly hosts well-known stars in its many luxury Hotels. On La Croisette, the most famous fashion brands are represented : among others Louis Vuitton, Chanel - or Hermès. The regional center and seat of the department, Nice, is 30 minutes to the east. Here, the Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours to Paris), and its international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur) has daily flights from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, you can range far and wide on day trips alone: Italy is only 1 hour away. Aix en Provence is 90 minutes distant.
