Welcome to this gorgeous four-bedroom, four-bathroom villa apartment near Aix en Provence, France. Located in the countryside of the Rognes community, the dashing home spans two floors (ground floor + first floor). For security and convenience, a gate protects the home and a guard is on site. This guard lives in a detached house with no direct views of the villa.

This four-bedroom villa apartment contains most necessary amenities for luxurious living. It includes a furnished backyard/garden with a large underground pool and outdoor dining table. For maximum comfort, a laundry washer and dryer are provided in the home.

An elegant living room area is brightly illuminated by ample windows. Here, modern ceiling lamps hang above posh accessories. Commodious seating space is available, including a sofa bed to accommodate overnight guests. A long white dining table provides space for family meals. Four bathrooms are spread throughout this two-story villa. Each bathroom contains a toilet, except for bathroom 1. Bathroom 1 provides a shower and tub. The owner did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable and cannot be faulted in any way. Language difficulties were overcome, our French/their English limited. We rented the house wanting to be near Lambesc but it may be a little far away from the action for others, unless wanting a large house in a country area. A car a necessity. The gates to the house are shared by other properties behind the villa. The garden not only has childrens swings, but petanque, table tennis, bikes and a siesta area. The only thing we could have improved upon was the weather which was somewhat autumnal! The website pictures should be updated as planting has improved the areas around the villa and swimming pool.

Hello Jane,

Thank you for staying at our house.

The weather was not so nice, you were not lucky! But it was not the worst region in France. Summer came in late this year, but September and October months were particularly hot.

Weather forecast announces rain every day, but nights are sometimes stormy and temperatures are climbing during the day: nature is unsettled!!!!!!!
Concerning the pictures, I know I have to change them. I will take the time this winter.

Our guests are so happy to find a nice quiet garden at arrival and to take a walk in the hill with their children without having to drive.

You think that this is a secluded place, but Rognes is a 5,000 inhabitants' village and the house is only 1.6 km away. Besides, our house is surrounded by 6,000 m² and 2 acres properties. This is the perfect location to enjoy tranquility (it is mentioned on our personal website).

The house was terrific. Unlike many we have rented in France, it was so clean and thoughtfully stocked for comfort and convenience.

It was lovely to rent a house that the owners cared so much about. It was a pleasure to be there. The only things I would comment on is that the bed in the chambre with grey walls was so squeaky that one could be woken in the night just turning over.
The mattress itself was very comfortable but I suspect the base needs replacing. Also in the lounge area all the covers over the chairs looked very messy after one sitting, it would be better if they were fixed and removable. It would also be lovely to have a cd player separate from the dvd player ie an ipod dock.

We would still rent the house again it really was terrific and the owners very nice.

I am really surprised to hear the bed is squeaky, the beds were bought in March 2010 and we chose high quality ones.

I asked my current guests and they didn't hear anything but I promise, as soon as the house is vacant, we'll test it.

The bedroom is often used by teenagers, when we show the house round, I am always surprised to see throw themselves on the beds. I'm going to ask our manufacturer if there is a solution.
As for the plaid blankets on the armchairs - I guess that's what is meant here - I must say it is bothersome to have to put them back.
The house has been rented for two years and the suede armchair is already stained.
We had an upholsterer re-cover it, that's why we decided to use plaid blankets ; indeed, having stained armchairs is not the solution when there are young difficult kids.
We do our best to ensure our guests feel comfortable but we can't change the bed bases, armchairs etc at the end of the year... as the accommodation is rented out for 10 weeks during the year and there are maintenance costs?
