This three bedroom apartment is located in Marseille, a city in the Mediterranean Coast of the South of France, within a region known as Provence. The rental is on both the ground and 1st European floors (equivalent to the ground and 2nd American floors) of a 2-story individual ‘maison de ville’ (townhouse). The entire property measures 500m² (approx. 5,400 sq ft) and is lined by trees all around, allowing for privacy. During your stay, you will have access to wifi internet and cable service, as well as parking space for two vehicles.
The 150m² rental (approx. 1,600 sq ft) features exposed wooden beams in the ceiling, and has a northeastern exposure. The windows offer lovely views of the grassy garden and private pool. The outdoor space has a covered terrace, potted plants, a variety of trees and shrubs, and a summer kitchen with a barbecue grill and pizza oven. Indoors, on the ground level, there is a living room, dining room, and kitchen. There is a bathroom near the entrance, equipped with a shower and sink; the toilet is in an adjacent room. The living room has two sofas, an armchair, and a coffee table facing a window and a flat-screen TV. There is a fireplace, and next to it a dining space with a wooden table that seats six and a china cabinet. The separate kitchen has white cupboards and contrasting black counters. It is fully equipped with all of the major utensils and appliances, including a practical washer & dryer. The terrace and dining room have additional tables and chairs, where guests can enjoy authentic Mediterranean meals. Bedroom 3, measuring 30m² (approx. 320 sq ft), is located in a separate studio and is accessible from the garden. The room is furnished with a double bed, double sofa bed, dining table and wardrobe. It has a kitchenette with a fridge-freezer and a microwave. There is also a bathroom that contains a toilet, shower, and washbasin.
On the upper level, you’ll find two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a double bed, single bed and wardrobe. There is also a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, built-in closet, so you’ll have plenty of storage space for your clothes. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a double bed, mirrored wardrobe, and corner desk with chair. The bathroom, located near the stairwell, has a shower and sink. The toilet is in a separate room next to it.
Situated between Impasse Sicard & Rue François Mauriac, this three bedroom apartment is in the Saint-Tronc quarters of the city of Marseille. The nearest subway station, Sainte-Marguerite Dromel, which is on line 2, is just over 2km (approx. 1.25 miles) west. Marseille is the 2013 European Capital of Culture, and it is one of the most visited cities in France. The city has 24 museums and 42 theaters. There are many beautiful beaches, steep-wall inlets, and ports with ferries, cruise ships, and yachts. Nearly 8km (approx. 5 miles) from the apartment is the Old Port of Marseille, as well as the opera house. Outside of the city, you can go for a drive and enjoy the countryside, as you take in the picturesque views of lavender fields and vineyards. You may also want to take a short day trip to the neighboring cities of Aix-en-Provence and Cassis. Further east are the famous vacation destinations of Cannes, Nice, and Monaco.
