Cavaillon, near Avignon Lovely Mas with Swimming pool and park
|
This peaceful, entirely refurbished Mas is located just by the Luberon, in the countryside of Cavaillon, region of Avignon.
Main House. It can accommodate 8 people
Ground Floor
Living Room :
Spacious and tastefully decorated. It is furnished with a rectangle dining table, a large beige sofa, a coffee table and three armchairs
There is a central modern fireplace.
Large kitchen : The Provence style kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking utensils. An electric oven and burners with extractor, a microwave oven and a dishwasher are available. There is a round dining table.
There is a separate WC.
First French Floor
The stair case give access to a pleasant library with two armchairs.
Three bedrooms are available.
The first bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed. The other two bedrooms (suites) are furnished with two double beds (one queen size, one double size)
Each bedroom has a window facing the park and an en-suite bathroom with a washbasin, a shower and a toilet.
Next to the main house is a separate apartment which can accommodate 4 people.
The layout is as follows :
Ground floor
The open kitchen is fully equipped with gas burners and oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a washing machine. There is a dining table.
The kitchen opens onto the living room.
In the living room you will find a double convertible sofa bed, a chest of drawers, a coffee table, a desk and two armchairs. There is a separate WC.
There are two French windows opening onto the terrace (with a pergola) and the garden .
First French floor
Up the staircase you will find a bedroom with two twin beds and a built-in closet.
There is an en-suite bathroom with a washbasin, and a tub.
OUTSIDE :
The Mas is surrounded by a large park planted with lawn and trees. There is also a nice swimming pool located in a very private area of the garden.
Some garden furniture is available.
The Mas can be rented with (12 people total) or without the second small house (8 people)
Neighborhood :
Cavaillon is very close to Avignon and the Luberon region. It is ideally located the beautiful sites of Provence.
- Avignon, and its monuments (Pont St Bénézet, Palais des Papes...), the Theater
Festival de Théâtre in july, and many museums.
- The Luberon is at 30 mn drive, with its famous villages on the hills (Gordes, Oppède le vieux, Lacoste...), Roussillon...
- Les Alpilles also at 30 mn drive , St Rémy de Provence, Mouriès, Maussane, les Baux de Provence...
- L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue famous for the Antiques village.
- La Route des Vins, "the wine road" (Gigondas and "les Dentelles de Montmirail", Séguret,Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf du Pape...)
- La Camargue is an hour drive from Avignon (Camargue National Park, beaches, Stes Maries de la Mer.)
Access :
55 km from Marseilles, 250 km from Lyon.
You can get to Cavaillon by road (motorways) or by train (TGV). You can also fly to Avignon or Marseilles airport.
