The apartment is located at the 1st French floor of a three stories building with security system. It can accommodate 4 people.
The layout is as follows :

You enter the apartment through the First French floor but will have some steps before entering the apartment. You will find the kitchen to your right and the lounge to your left. The large lounge is furnished with three double sofas, a coffee table, a round dining table and a large armoire. There are two windows and a fireplace.
The separate kitchen is equipped with four electric burners, an electric oven, a micro wave, a refrigerator/fridge, a coffee maker and a toaster. It has all necessary cooking utensils. Next to the kitchen is a dining area furnished with a dining
The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a large built-in closet. It has a window facing the courtyard. The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, and a tub. There is a separate WC.

The spiral staircase gives access to the second floor.
The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and a bedside table.
There is an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a shower and a toilet.
Next to the bedroom is a large loggia with a nice view over the roofs. It is furnished with armchairs, a desk and a wardrobe.
Each room is equipped with a fan (A/c in first bedroom).

Neighborhood :
The best advantage of the apartment is its central location, very accessible by car and close to the city center (short walking distance from the famous Cours Mirabeau: ). Aix en Provence in Bouches du Rhône district, is a very typical town with an historic center. It is famous for it's landscapes (Cezanne) . The town is less than hour drive from the Mediterranean Sea and the ' Parc Régional du Luberon'. Aix en Provence is also famous for its summer festival (classical) and it is ideally located to discover the south east of France (including the southern Alps).
Access :
35 km from Marseilles, 65 km from Avignon. You can get to Aix en Provence by road (motor way) or by train (TGV Train station in Aix) . You can also fly through Marseilles Provence Airport (15mn drive).

First of all, the services of your company were excellent. [Your agent] was very helpful and patient and thanks to his good service we were able to find the apartment we wanted.
The vacation rental itself is beautiful and we were most satisfied. There is no complaint whatsoever, although the apartment has some disadvantages such as a very small kitchen and toilette. However, such was outweighed by the very tasteful furnishing of the apartment, the gorgeous winter garden on the top floor, the location and the very helpful landlady.
In conclusion, we were very satisfied and happy and if we ever need an apartment again in one of the areas where NY Habitat is offering accommodation we will certainly get back to you.

Inside, the apartment was in excellent shape. It was very clean and got tons of light from many large windows
The apartment owner was wonderful to work with. She was very friendly and responsive, both by e-mail before we travelled and after we arrived.
The vacation rental itself was very nice. The street was a bit off-putting on first arrival, but we later learned that most building exteriors in Aix are covered in graffiti and poorly maintained. Inside, the apartment was in excellent shape. It was very clean and got tons of light from many large windows. The one toilet was in an *extremely* tiny room (you had to straddle the toilet to close the door), which was mildly irritating. The kitchen was also quite small, but very serviceable with a fridge, stove, oven, and dish washer. The rest of the apartment was comfortably sized. The sun-room/porch/patio on the second floor of the apartment was a great bonus. It got tons of light and opened up for lots of fresh air. We enjoyed having two separate bedrooms (particularly since we were travelling with our child) plus the living room.
The location was also convenient. The adjacent street was lined with bakeries, butchers, fruit stands, small groceries, and other shops. Cours Mirabeau was only a 5 minute walk away. There was a bus stop right on the corner, though we found the bus schedule in Aix a bit opaque. It's about a ten minute walk to the regional bus stop (to get to the train station, Marseille, Avignon and elsewhere).
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment and owner to others.

Sort of a thing that might answer questions that the renter had forgotten to ask at the time of getting the key...
