Nice two bedroom duplex village house in l'Isle sur la Sorgue - Near Avignon

This two bedroom duplex house is located in the heart of L'Isle sur La Sorgue famous historic town built on water - near Cavaillon, Carpentras and Avignon.
The layout is as follows:
First French Floor :
You enter the house through the lower floor of the house where you will find a small laundry room with a shower and a toilet. There is a room containing personal effects from the owner on this floor.
You enter the apartment through the living room furnished a large convertible sofa, two armchairs and a coffee table. There is a working fireplace and a piano.
The dining area is furnished with a round table and a cupboard. The living room has two windows opening onto the quiet street.
The open kitchen is fully equipped: Electric oven, 4 electric and gas burners and fridge/freeze.
Second First Floor :
The stairs lead to the second French floor with 2 double bedrooms with nice exposed beams.You will first enter a large entrance hall used as an office.
The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, an armchair and a small closet. It has a window facing the quiet street. There is a TV.
The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers and a sofa.
These rooms share a bathroom, equipped with a tub, a washbasin, a French bidet and a toilet.
A parking lot is located a few minutes walk from the house.
Neighborhood :
L'Isle sur la Sorgue is often compared to the Italian Venice. The city was built during the 12th century on pilotis. This is a very unique place for its traditions around water
This compact medieval town is built on the islands of five branches of the Sorgue river, 7 km downstream from its source at Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. The river flows through, past, in and around the town, in its many natural beds and several canals. Even without gondolas, water adds a special beauty and character to a town. Sorgue has its many river branches and canals, huge overhanging plane trees and several large, lovely waterwheels. Even if the many mills are no longer working, some of the waterwheels still turn.
The imposing Notre-Dame-des-Anges church in the center of the "vieille ville" was a Collegial church in 1222. Rebuilt in the 17th century, three sides still show signs of its age; the front is refurbished, and includes a lovely clock showing the time, date and phases of the moon. The church is surrounded by cafés and shops, and the many shopping streets radiating out from this center have mouth-watering smells and window displays. For many years now, L'Isle sur la Sorgue has had a great tradition for antiques and you will therefore enjoy the large market for authentic objects and pieces of furniture.

Vaucluse (84) - Marseille 80 km, Avignon 20 km -(Trains SNCF - ). Quick access to the A7 motorway in Cavaillon.
