Studio in Village house in Digne les Bains.

This studio is located on the ground floor of an authentic 17th century three story village house in the city of Digne les Bains.
It was entirely renovated 20 years ago and it is on a plaza facing a 17th century cathedral.
You enter the studio (actually a small one bedroom) via a quiet street.
The living room is furnished with a double convertible sofa-bed, a dining table and has a TV and a stereo. There is a window opening onto a quiet street.
The separate kitchen is equipped with 3 gas burners and an electric hotplate, a small electric oven, a refrigerator and a dining table.
Next is the small bedroom with a double convertible sofa-bed and wardrobe.
Note : Due to the old construction of the building the ceilings are not very high.
Residential parking is available nearby. From the parking you access the house via some stairs.
Digne les Bains Alpes de Haute Provence is a peaceful city surrounded by nature. It is the ideal destination for nature or sports lovers.
You can go hiking, moutain biking, horse riding...
Digne les Bains also offers a thermal resort and a golf course.
Digne les Bains is part of the national natural geological park and offers a discovery museum.
You will also be surprised to find a Museum of Alexandra David Neel who was one of the very few female explorers at the beginning of the 20th century in Asia (Tibet) and spent part of her life in Digne les Bains were she disappeared in 1969. Her house is now a museum.
In August lots of events celebrate one of Provence most famous flower : lavender
You can also enjoy the very picturesque "Train des Pignes" which offers daily connections from and to Nice.
The city is located on the famous Route Napoleon.
Train to Nice from Digne les Bains but also Trains to Marseilles, Aix en Provence and Briancon.(via St Auban 15 mn by bus).
Digne is located 70 km from Aix en Provence, 100 km from Marseilles, 40 km from Sisteron, 160 km from Nice.
The nearest motorway is A 51 (15 km away).
