Studio in a large Mas with shared pool
|
This 17th Century Mas is a lovely old stone farm house, located in Jonquières, 10 km from Orange and 30 km north of Avignon. It has been carefully renovated to ensure comfort.
The owners occupy the main house. Four accommodations are available in the property.
They are available as self catering weekly rentals but also as a Bed and Breakfast (for 2 days minimum).
Guests are welcome to prepare all their own meals, however, an optional continental breakfast can be provided if preferred. This is served in the terraces, in the rooms or in the Provence style dining room of the main house or in the garden.
This studio apartment is located on the first French floor of the east end of the property and is east exposed.
It is equipped with INTERNET access (wifi).
The living room is furnished with a dining table, a double bed with bedside tables, two armchairs and a chest of drawers. There is a French window facing east and opening onto the terrace & garden.
The open kitchen is equipped with two electric hot plates, a small electric oven, a refrigerator and a coffee maker.
Behind the kitchen is the bathroom with a washbasin, a stall shower and a toilet.
Outside :
The Mas is surrounded entirely by farmland and is remarkably peaceful and secluded.
Guests are invited to use the splendid 11Mx 5M swimming-pool that has a wave machine which allows for swimming against the current. As the pool is purified by bromide, the water is of high quality, and there is no unpleasant smell of chlorine. There is also a pool-house nearby, and sun-chairs, tables and umbrellas for guests to use around the pool and elsewhere in the secluded gardens.
In the heart of Popes's Provence and northern sunny Vaucluse, this property offers breathtaking view onto Ventoux Mount. This property is the ideal location to visit Avignon, Chateauneuf du Pape and the wine route of Provence.
Access :
There is a quick access from and to the A7 Motorway (exit Orange) leading north to Lyon and South to Aix en Provence.
You can take the TGV train to Avignon and drive from there (20 mn drive).
