This large and cosy villa with pool is located a few minutes drive from the village of Saint Saturnin d'Apt, near Apt. The layout is as follows : You enter the enclosed property via a gate. Ground floor : =========== The spacious and bright living room is furnished with a large sofa with a coffee table and two armchairs. There is a nice working fireplace and large bay windows opening onto a partly shaded terrace. There is a TV (LCD Flat screen), a stereo and internet access is available. The dining area is furnished with a large rectangle table. There is a convenient pass through to the fully equipped open kitchen. It is equipped with electric ceramic plates, an electric oven, a refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an electric kettle and toaster and has all necessary cooking utensils. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a washbasin, a toilet and a washing machine. The first bedroom is furnished with a single bed and a chest of drawers. There is a window facing east. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a desk and a chest of drawers. There is a small stereo. The third bedroom is furnished with a single bed. There is a large bookshelf, an electric piano, a chests playing table as well as a working fireplace. This bedroom has a direct access to the south terrace and the garden. The fourth bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a desk and a wardrobe. There is a window opening onto the terrace and the garden. There are some nice terracotta tiles. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a washbasin and a shower. There is a separate toilet. Fist French floor : ============= Two more bedrooms are available on this floor, both are south exposed. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a small desk and a built in closet. There is a large French window opening onto a south exposed private terrace with great views onto the garden and the valley. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and a built-in closet. There is a large bathroom with a double washbasin and a tub and a separate toilet. From this floor you have access to a north exposed terrace (ideal for al fresco siesta). Outside : You will enjoy two terraces one facing south one facing north as well as the swimming-pool (6mx12m) and the large garden overlooking the Luberon Valley. The garden is ornamented with Mediterranean trees and plants. There is a garage and various parking spaces are available outside. A BBQ is available. Neighborhood : In Saint Saturnin les Apt, the nearest village (2 mn drive - 10 mn walk) you will find the main commodities. The nearest town is Apt where you will find all kinds of shops. Do not miss the Saturday market in Apt which is very typical and colourful. - The Luberon region is famous for its villages on the hills (Gordes, Oppède le vieux, Lacoste...), Roussillon... - L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue famous for the Antiques village. - Les Alpilles also at 50 mn drive , St Rémy de Provence, Mouriès, Maussane, les Baux de Provence... - La Route des Vins, 'the wine road '' (Gigondas and 'les Dentelles de Montmirail ', Séguret,Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf du Pape...) - Avignon, and its monuments (Pont St Bénézet, Palais des Papes...), the Theater Festival de Théâtre in july, and many museums. - Aix en Provence. Access : 100 km from Marseilles, 200 km from Lyon. You can get to St Saturnin by road (motorway to Cavaillon or TGV train Avignon).You can also fly to Avignon or Marseilles airport and drive from there.
