Cosy 2 bedroom apartment in an authentic Mas with shared pool

This comfortable two bedroom apartment is located on the east part of a large tastefuly refurbished Mas in the heart of the Village of Paradou, near Les Baux de Provence. The apartment has a independent entrance, through and external staircase. The first bedroom is equipped with a double bed with bedside tables and a chest of drawers. If has a window facing south and overlooking the courtyard/garden. The second bedroom is equipped with a double bed and has a washbasin. These rooms share a bathroom with a double washbasin and a shower. There is a separate toilet. The kitchen/living room is equipped with an electric oven, a microwave oven, a coffee maker and electric hotplates, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. There is a sofa and a TV. There is a washer and dryer. Outside : ======= The property is fenced and you access to it via and automated gate. You will have access to the shared swimming pool. The front of the Mas is partly shaded by a large plane tree. You are in the heart of The village of Le Paradou and a few minutes drive from the famous village of Les Baux de Provence (3 km away). Neighbourhood: -------------- The house is in the heart of the mountain range called 'Alpilles'; 45 minutes south of the city of Avignon, 10 minutes from Saint-Rémy de Provence and in the heart of the village of Paradou where main shops can be found.(You can easily walk there). You are only a few minutes drive from the beautiful medieval town of Les Baux de Provence. Within their surroundings, the Alpilles chain of mountains forms both a striking and a harmonious picture. Set in the white rock, high on its promontory, the village of Baux-de-Provence and its old castle overhang a valley filled with olive trees, and vineyards. The view from the old castle is amazing and the Cathédrale d'Images, set in a former stone quarry, usually offers interesting exhibitions. Listed as one of the "Most beautiful villages in France" and as a historical monument, Les Baux de Provence is one of the most popular places in France. This area is the 'Provence of the Rhone' and has a strong Roman heritage. It is also the landscape of famous painters such as Van Gogh, Cézanne and Matisse who came here to capture the extraordinary light and color of the region. It is a also rich agricultural area with rolling plains of fruit orchards, olives groves and all variety of Mediterranean vegetables. It is alive with the sound of chirping 'cigales' and the intoxicating aromas of multitude of wild herbs. The olive oil from the Baux valley is worldwide famous. This olive grove has been designated 'Outstanding site for flavor' and produces an olive oil, which has the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée classification.
