Authentic stone house with garden and swimming pool access near Apt - Luberon.

This small house is located a few minutes from the Village of Villars nestled between the mounts of Vaucluse & Luberon, near Apt. This over 100 years old stone house on three different level is composed of : Garden level : ========== Living area and fully equipped open kitchen (electric oven, 4 induction plates, microwave oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer.) There is a round dining table seating 4. The bathroom has a washbasin, a stall shower and toilet. First French floor : =============== The living room is furnished with a double convertible sofa bed, an armchair and a wardrobe. There is a window facing south and overlooking the garden and a door facing east with direct access to the garden via external stone stairs. A working fireplace is available. There is a TV. Second French floor : ================ The double mansard-roofed bedroom is furnished with 2 single twin-beds that can be joined to make a king-size bed. There is a chest of drawers and a washbasin. (sky-light window ). There is a washing machine. The thick stone walls allow to keep a good temperature inside the house even during the summer. Outside : ====== The property is set on 1.5 ha of land. The owners live in the villa, next to the house but you benefit from an entire privacy. In the private garden space (with shade) you will find some garden furniture and a BBQ. You will have access to the large swimming pool. The Luberon is ideal for all kinds of sports : walking, climbing, horse riding, mountain biking, tennis playing... In the village of Villars (a few minutes walk away) you will find a bakery and two restaurants. The nearest town is Apt where you will find all kinds of shops. Do not miss the Saturday market in Apt which is very typical and colourful. - The Luberon region is famous for its villages on the hills (Gordes, Oppède le vieux, Lacoste...), Roussillon... - L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue famous for the Antiques village. - Les Alpilles also at 50 mn drive , St Rémy de Provence, Mouriès, Maussane, les Baux de Provence... - La Route des Vins, 'the wine road' (Gigondas and 'Les Dentelles de Montmirail', Séguret,Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf du Pape...) - Avignon, and its monuments (Pont St Bénézet, Palais des Papes...), the Theater Festival de Théâtre in july, and many museums. - Aix en Provence. Access : 100 km from Marseilles, 200 km from Lyon. You can get to St Saturnin by road (motorway to Cavaillon or TGV train Avignon).You can also fly to Avignon or Marseilles airport and drive from there.
