This duplex one bedroom apartment with open kitchen is located in the countryside of Aix en Provence, near Aix les Platanes. It can accommodate up to 4 people for short term rentals and 2 people for long term. The apartment is attached to a large villa but offers a lot of privacy. You enter the apartment through the living is furnished with a double sofa, 2 armchairs, a coffee table and a dining table. The open kitchen is equipped with 2 electric burners, a refrigerator and freezer, a microwave oven, a toaster. It has most necessary cooking utensils. There is a washing machine At the back to the kitchen you will find an extra space with a double convertible sofa bed. From this room you also have direct access to the garden (and parking area) through a French door. The bathroom has a washbasin and shower and toilet. Wooden stairs give access to the bedroom. It is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe and overlooks the living room. There is a Wifi Internet Access. Outside : You will enjoy a private garden area with BBQ and garden furniture. For short term rentals you will have access to a swimming pool (shared). Neighborhood : The property has been recently built following ecology friendly principles including geothermic installation. It is located in a residential area (Aix en Provence - North) between Route des Pinchinats and Route de Sisteron - less than 5 minutes drive from the Heart of Aix en Provence. Aix en Provence in Bouches du Rhône district, is a very typical town with an historic center. It is famous for it's landscapes (Cezanne) . The town is less than hour drive from the Mediterranean Sea and the ' Parc Régional du Luberon'. Aix en Provence is also famous for its summer festival (classical) and it is ideally located to discover the south east of France (including the southern Alps). Access : 40 km from Marseilles, 65 km from Avignon. It is advisable to have a car. You can get to Aix en Provence by road (motor way) or by train (TGV Train station in Aix) . You can also fly through Marseilles Provence Airport (15mn drive).
