This two bedroom apartment is located in the East Village of Manhattan at 13th Street & 1st Avenue on the 5th floor (European 4th floor) of a 5-story walk-up prewar building. The fully furnished NYC rental features a security system and offers northern, southern and western views of the street and other buildings.
This apartment is located in a good neighborhood in Manhattan. Rent is affordable for the size and location. The apartment is not luxurious, just standard, so keep your expectations aligned.
The living room features a sofa, dining table that seats two people, coffee table and a TV with cable. The open concept eat-in kitchen makes cooking easy with an oven, full sized fridge and a microwave. The bathroom has a shower, bathtub and a sink with a vanity. Both bedrooms offer full sized beds, dressers for storage and have exposed brick accent walls.
The East Village is a popular neighborhood with many bars and restaurants! There are plenty of things to see and do for all ages!

We rented the apartment for at period of 3 months. We were all absolutely pleased with the area. It is in my own opinion the best area in all of Manhattan. It is close to everything, the subway is just outside your door. The area is buzzing with all kinds of restaurants and at the same time it is nice and quiet. The apartment was also very nice. The size is just fine. The only minus would be that we had to pay a 100USD cleaning fee, and we arrived to a very dirty apartment! We had to go out at buy cleaners for 75USD and clean it completely our selves. |

Further to this review, we contacted the owner who said that he will discuss issues with the cleaners and will make sure that all apartments are cleaned thoroughly prior to each rental so that the $75 cleaning fee is justified. He also added that when notified of issues, they are always willing to step in and rectify the issues during the renters' stay. |

Further to this review, the owner contacted us to explain that he and a maintenance person tend to the apartment and the building regularly to ensure it is in good condition. |
