This five-bedroom apartment is a converted duplex. It used to be two separate apartments but is now connected by a spiral staircase.
The first floor of the apartment, which is located on the fourth floor of the building, includes the kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom.
Upon entering you can see the spiral staircase on the left, which leads upstairs. On the right is a dining table for 6 people. The kitchen is basic and includes a stove, refrigerator and microwave. Basic pots, pans, plates and utensils are provided.
Continuing down the hallway there are three bedrooms.
The bedrooms are all lightly furnished.
The first bedroom has a full sized bed and a closet. There is a window facing the neighboring building.
The second bedroom also has a full sized bed. The room has two windows, which face towards the back of the building. This room also has a small desk.
The third bedroom has a single sized futon. There is a bookshelf and a table in the room as well. There are two windows facing towards the back.
The bathroom on this floor includes a tub/shower, a w/c and a sink with medicine cabinet.
The second floor has two additional bedrooms, a living/dining room and an additional bathroom.
The living room area is furnished with two full sized futons, which can be used in the bedrooms. There is a T/V and an air conditioner in the living room. There is also a dining table for 6.
There is an area that used to be a kitchen and still takes the shape of a kitchen. There is a refrigerator, sink and microwave. There is just no stove.
The bedrooms on the second level are similar to the bedrooms on the first level except they are unfurnished. The futons in the living room could be used in these bedrooms.
The bathroom is matching to the bathroom on the lower level.
The building is located in the heart of Chinatown just a few blocks from both Grand and Canal Streets. Just to the west is Little Italy. Therefore, you can find some great Italian and Chinese food just outside the apartment. Canal Street is known for it discounts shops, which pedal all sorts of goods from knockoff sunglasses to New York City trinkets. The closest subways stations are the B,D at Grand Street and the 6,N,R,W,Q,J,M,Z trains located at Canal Street and Lafayette Streets.
