New York Apartment - 1 Bedroom Rental in Gramercy (NY-12330)

This fully furnished one bedroom loft apartment is located in the Gramercy/Flatiron area of Lower Manhattan, New York. The apartment is on the 4th floor (considered 3rd by Europeans) of a 6-story converted historic warehouse with an elevator. There is a buzzer/intercom system for security.

The apartment has a large living room, which is furnished with a sofa and dining table. There is no television, but there is a computer with a 24'' monitor which is available to watch DVDs or stream programs from the internet. Wireless internet is also available. For additional entertainment, there is a piano and a stereo system. The stereo system connects wireless with your laptop and you can play your songs in the apartment stereo. The art on the walls is original by upcoming artist of the New York art scene.

Fully equipped gourmet working kitchen with Le Creuset and All-Clad cookware, granite countertop, and Miele/Wolf appliances (induction cooktop, electric oven, washer & dryer). Also toaster, kettle, hand blender, microwave and a Keurig coffee-maker with coffee pods (a Nespresso can also be provided on request, pods must be supplied by guest). Ergonomic gel mats on the kitchen floor and a variety of cutting boards and properly sharpened knives. Stocked pantry items include cooking oils and vinegars, salt/pepper, sugar and spices, flour, pasta, rice and some grains.There is also a washer and dryer in the apartment.

Air conditioning cools the entire one bedroom vacation rental, with individual units in the bedroom and living room that are operated by remote control. The bedroom is equipped with a king sized bed with a 2017 Tuft and Needle mattress. Full dedicated closet space with hanging bar & shelves (Approx 1.75 feet wide) available. Two large soundproof windows, with optional blackout shades, facing Park Avenue provide lots of natural light. The bathroom of this accommodation has a new design and includes a large shower, and vanity with large counter, sink and mirror and a w/c.

This rental is located on Park Avenue South in Graercy (also known as part of Midtown East). Madison Square Park is one short blocks east of this apartment, where you can see the famous Flatiron building and enjoy burgers from the acclaimed Shake Shack. 23rd Street, less than two blocks south, is lined with shops, restaurants and cafes. A Walgreen's pharmacy and a grocery store are within a two block walk.

Public transportation is very convenient with the 4/6 subway line under 2 blocks away (less than 150 meters), and the N/R station about 3 blocks from the building (approximately 450 meters), making commuting around New York City, either up or downtown, easier.

Please note that this apartment faces an avenue so it can be noisy at times but there are double glazed windows that when locked provide an extra sound seal.

Please BE AWARE that there is a cat staying in the apartment which needs to be fed twice daily, though she can be boarded for an extra fee.
