This fully furnished one bedroom apartment is located on East 61st Street & First Avenue in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York. It is on the 2nd floor (considered 1st by Europeans) of a 5-story walk-up built in the 1920s and equipped with a buzzer / intercom security system. The unit itself has southern exposure and is fully air-conditioned.

Enjoy a nice bike ride while you’re there and get back home with the Roosevelt Island Tram, which offers great views of the Manhattan skyline during the commute. You can also go biking or hiking at Central Park, just over 7 blocks west from your place! Even closer is the Rockefeller University campus and the East River Esplanade, both within a 3-block radius. If you like shopping, take advantage of the numerous boutiques on Lexington Avenue! The closest subway station, 59 Street / Lexington Avenue on the N, Q, R, 4, 5 and 6 lines, is only 5 blocks away and will take you anywhere in the city and with few connections to other lines.
