The kitchen looks into the living room via a breakfast bar with chairs and is equipped with all necessary items to cook. There is also the convenience of a washer and dryer. The living room is furnished with a queen size sofa bed, armchair, coffee table, working fireplace, flat screen television with cable and DVD player. There is WiFi internet connection available. There is also a small alcove with pillows to sit on.
Fort Greene could be the perfect Brooklyn neighborhood: only 4 subway stops to Manhattan, it's got parks, plenty of restaurants, outdoor markets, beautiful tree and brownstones-lined streets and historic buildings. Among the things you don't want to miss during your stay are:
Fort Greene is niched between many other neighborhoods of interest such as Prospect Heights to the south, or Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo to the north.
To explore New York further, take the G or C train at Fulton Street / Lafayette Avenue. The C train will take you to Lower Manhattan in as few as 4 stops and runs all the way to Harlem. The G line runs to the northernmost parts of Brooklyn and Long Island City in Queens, as well as south to Park Slope. The Atlantic Terminal is half-a-mile away (800m) and give access to both subway and rail services, which will connect you to the rest of New York City.
