This luxurious studio apartment is located on the third floor (considered 2nd floor by Europeans) of a townhouse building in Murray Hill on 36th street and Lexington Avenue. The walk-up building has a security system that consists of a buzzer and video intercom. With garden views, this studio apartment is perfect for the Manhattan lifestyle.
Lined with hard wood floors, this furnished studio also has large windows that allow natural sunlight to brighten the apartment. The 50-inch plasma TV is a great asset to the apartment’s modern décor and the bathroom has a rainfall showerhead allowing you to relax after a long day in the Big Apple!
Murray Hill is a great location in New York due to its residential feel in the middle of Midtown East , with all the various restaurant options as well as entertainment possibilities that it's known for. For those who love fine dining, Rare Bar & Grill is located just one block north east of this studio. If you love Tex-Mex cuisine, El Rio Grande is only two blocks away, but if you prefer to cook at home a D’Agostino Supermarket is conveniently located just three short blocks north from this studio apartment. In regards to attractions and local tourist hot spots, the Empire State Building is less than half a mile away (800m) and the Chrysler Building is only 6 blocks away. On a relaxing day you can head over to Bryant Park (0.7 miles away / 1.12km) and enjoy the beautiful scenery, also where New York Fashion Week is held in the fall!
For traveling to other parts of Manhattan the nearest subway is just 4 blocks away giving you access to the 6 line, but Grand Central station is also conveniently 6 blocks north from this apartment, a transit hub that provides the 4 and 5 lines as well, in addition to the 7 and S trains and out-of-town trains! As for the heat--it is automatically controlled, depending on outside temperature, which can be adjusted if a simple email or text is sent to us to make the space more comfortable. Michael was as great a guest as you can get--clean, quiet, and respectful of the building, the apartment and our neighbors. He kept the apartment in excellent condition during his whole stay. The apartment was awesome! It was well furnished and there is everything you need in it. The equipment is up-to-date and you feel comfortable very quickly. It was located very centrally and I was able to reach a lot of things by foot. |
