This one bedroom apartment with an additional sleeping alcove is situated on the second floor of a 5-story, elevator building facing the street in a 5-story brownstone in Manhattan’s East Village. There is also the luxury of a gym shared amongst the buildings' tenants, as well as on-site laundry facilities.
There are wood floors throughout the apartment and the living room is furnished with a sofa bed which folds out into a queen sized sofa bed. A small coffee table occupies the space between the sofa bed and the television, while modern pictures are hung around the walls.
The bedroom also contains a queen-size bed and has a window with a northern exposure toward the street. The additional sleeping alcove is separated by French doors and is furnished with a queen sized sofa bed. This room does not have a window.
The separate kitchen of the apartment has a marble floor and is fully equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave and all of the utensils and cookware needed to prepare a home-cooked meal.
Air conditioning cools the apartment.

Both Union Square and Tompkins Square Park are about a 5 blcok walk away, offering green markets and a space to relax in the middle of New York City.
Public transportation is particularly convenient with the L subway station just two blocks north and the 4/6 lines at Astor Place station about four blocks away.
